David has lived and worked in Europe, North America, the Caribbean, Africa and South East Asia. He has worked for – and with – many food companies, not least in Australia and New Zealand since completing his Ph.D. in meat marketing. He is known to many in the Southern Hemisphere through his 15 years of senior involvement in the Australasian Meat Executive Program. His views are sought by individual firms, meat and egg industry associations and the media on global consumer trends in protein (meat and plant-based), retail developments and emerging innovative routes to the retail and food service customer
